Less admin, more time with the work

Entries, judging, entry fees, and awards live in one place, so you’re not juggling spreadsheets, inboxes, and a payment app. It’s built by people who have run open calls themselves.

Open call flow

  1. Draft

Set the deadline, criteria, judging, and entry fee.

  2. Preview

Share a private link so your team can review it.

  3. Live

Share your call’s link and start collecting entries.

  4. Judging

Judges score entries in one round or several.

  5. Awarded

Review results and notify artists when you’re ready.

You can still edit a live call. Artists are emailed about changes that affect them, and big changes ask you to confirm first.

Judge hundreds of entries without the slog

A big call doesn’t have to mean a big spreadsheet. Split the work across rounds and judges, and let each round narrow the field for the next.

Narrow the field in rounds
Close a round, then advance the top entries or everything above a score you choose. Each round can have its own judges and scheme.
One dashboard for judges
Judges see only the rounds they’re invited to, with every piece ready to view, play, or open.
Blind judging when you want it
Hide artist names, avatars, bios, or IDs from judges, so the work is judged on its own. CVs and other documents are held back too.

Score with Stars, Yes/No, or a rubric of up to five equally weighted criteria, chosen per round.

Set up your team in minutes

Admins and managers are easy to add, and judges don’t need to learn a new system or chase files. Everyone accepts an invitation and gets to work.

You run the call
Create your organization, build calls, and keep every entry, score, and payment in one place.
Bring in help
Invite anyone to help run your calls as an admin: institution staff, colleagues, or friends. They join by email, with or without an account, and you can remove them any time.
Judges join by email
Invite a judge to a call or a single round. They can accept with an existing account or create one from the invitation.

Entries arrive ready to review

Artists upload images, audio, and PDFs once, and we process every file in the background.

  • Images are cleaned of hidden metadata and turned into fast-loading previews.
  • Audio is converted to play in any browser, with a waveform to scan through.
  • PDFs become images: artists pick which pages to enter as pieces.
  • Video pieces arrive as links, so large files never clog your call.

Fees handled for you

Entry fees are other people’s money, so we keep every step visible. Payments run through Stripe, one of the most widely used payment processors.

Paid through Stripe
Artists pay with cards and popular wallets through Stripe Checkout. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.
Money goes straight to you
Each entry fee lands in your organization’s own Stripe account when the entry is submitted. Stripe pays out to your bank on your schedule.
Every payment on record
Each call has a payments page listing every charge and refund, with its amount and date.
Refunds without the back-and-forth
Artists can withdraw until judging closes and are refunded automatically, minus only Stripe’s processing fee. Our commission is refunded too.

No upfront cost, commission only

There’s no subscription, per-call fee, or per-entry fee. We take 7.1% of the entry fees you collect, and free calls stay free. You connect Stripe only when you first charge an entry fee. See pricing for a worked example.
